Am also riding up from South Ga., through ATL. to hook up with lil' bro. Will keep in touch to hopfully get up with some of the Floribama guys there. (we are also doing flat track).
Any suggestions on seats, general admission or stadium seating?
I was looking at Corner 7 seating...looks good with the Jumbotron but no real feel for the track in the track layout maps I have seen. Anyone see a better viewing location? 100.00 dollars for the weekend plus parking, general addmission is 75.00 plus parking.
8 hours or boring interstate according to the mapping software.
Seriously I've watched a race from the grandstands, other than Daytona Flat Track, just once and hated it. Indy looks so damn big and removed to me. I have seats, section 19 Southwest Vista like 50 rows up. I'll go there first to see if I want to ditch them and see if my reserved seat will get me into the infield. The complex looks huge and I'm hoping the shuttles are working.
I'm with Calhoun in the RV and I don't think we are getting to the track until Friday night.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway...where they hold the BIG race. Plus, that weekend will have the flat track championships at the Indy Mile (fairgrounds race track)
A handful of us have made plans to attend that weekend. A few are in hotels and some are in RV's. Maybe we'll have enough dosh left over after paying for gas to buy a bottle of tequila and a t-shirt while we're there.
